Mosaic Monday: Still...

...the roses are blooming in our Swedish garden...

...and I show some of them in this week of  Mosaic  Monday, hosted by MARY with the little Red House.

'Salet', the French reblooming rosa muscosa from 1854, made by Lacharme, is better now in september than earlier this summer. And the fragrance!

'Macy's Pride' is an American rose from the Easy Elegance Serie, grown on it's own roots, and it is a real pride for our garden! You can read more about the rose HERE.

'Rhapsody in Blue' is a rose in nearly in blue tones, and you can grow it as a climber or as a shrub. It is a Warner Rose from UK 2000.

'Mortimer Sackler' is a rose from David Austin, UK,  and new this summer in our garden. I saw it when I visited a friends garden this summer, and fell for it's lovely charme.

Another new rose this summer is 'Haga Slott', a Danish rose from 2006, made by Poulsen. Lovely flowers and it smells very rosy. We have a new border behind our house, where we have started to plant some roses, trees and perennials...The result we will  look forward to next summerseason!

This is the Monday ten years and a day after The day that turned the world - and America - around...
I hope something good will grow from the bad...

Have a Happy Mosaic Monday&
A Nice Week!

MOSAIC MONDAY: Mauvecoloured roses....

...with lovely flowers, are growing in my rosegarden.
A mix and mosaic of them will be my blogpost to this Mosaic Monday by the hostess MARY with the little Red House.
It is the unknown gallica 'Hippolyte', placed in the vase, which change its colurs in its age, to dark, dark mauve. It is a rose with a good health; a onceblooming rose, but it flowers a long period of the roseseason, and with a lot of flowers on the roseplant. The picture in the mosaic, with only one flower, is also 'Hippolyte', very old-fashioned in its look, isn't it? And it has a nice rosy fragrance.
The other rose, is a more "difficult" to grow, as you some seasons can find a lot of blackspot decease on it. So I warn you for the rose: 'Souvenir d'Alphonse Lavallé', a French old climber bred by Verdier 1884. But isn't it lovely?...And it smells good too.

Maybe it is some misplaced in the colour together with the climber 'Dortmund'(more about this rose HERE)...

...but if I plant a clematis between them?...

Have a nice week!
best wishes,
AnnA
